Emma Hood Fine Art

Boise artist Emma Hood creates contemplative photography and digital collage work exploring the relationship between place, memory, and time. This fine art photographer draws from the New Topographics movement while examining how our inner and outer worlds transform together.

Hood's practice began in 2011 with digital photo manipulation. Using her signature palette of orange, yellow, and blue, she photographs both stand alone compositions and visual fragments that become building blocks for her collage artist practice.

Currently represented by Pivot Gallery in Ontario, Hood exhibits limited edition photography art prints internationally. Her work has earned recognition through galleries and residency programs including the Show and Tell program at Common Well Studios and exhibitions at Idaho Art Gallery.

Hood continues developing her practice as a professional fine art photographer, with work increasingly entering private and public collections.
