Borrowed Memories

Borrowed Memories begins with a message from a stranger and an envelope of photographs from an Idaho family. Images of people the artist has never met, a history she was never part of. The collection came through one of the family's last surviving relatives. Rather than destroy the collection, she chose to entrust them to an artist. Borrowed Memories is Hood's response to that act of letting go and becoming something new.
