Created in 2025, the piece reflects on the impact solo travel had on the artist during a formative period. Drawn from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, the title holds that same spirit of unlikely wonder.
Four photographs are repeated and blended in composition, a signature approach. After a shoot, Hood edits photographs in batches, then hand-groups images for each new collage. The collage process is manual: image layers, transparency, blending modes, marquee tool, and image transform tools are used within Photoshop.
