Digital collage · Archival giclée print · Sold unframed
This image was captured while photographing a Boise square through the BoisePhotoGrid, a project Hood was part of in 2025. The composition is made up of a single photograph, a metal box found in a business park, reflecting gradients of the nearby scenery.
The metal scratches and industrial elements pair well with the modular quality of the collage composition.
Captured and collaged in 2025.
The single photograph was dissected and reassembled for this composition. After each shoot, Hood edits photographs in batches, then hand-groups images for a potential collage. The process is manual: image layers, transparency, blending modes, marquee tool, and image transform tools are used within Photoshop.
