So much of the world is on fire this year. This piece is quiet anticipation for the new growth that will come (hopefully soon).
Captured and Collaged 2026
Multiple photographs are stacked in this composition, repeated and transformed in Hood's signature collage process. After a shoot, Hood edits photographs in batches, then hand-groups images for each new collage. Sometimes returning to images years later. The collage process is manual: image layers, transparency, blending modes, marquee tool, and image transform tools are used within Photoshop.
